  1. W. Bensinger forges each knife from high carbon steel, extensively refining the grain structure in the process. This, in combination with a first-rate heat treat sequence creates a blade of rare strength and sharpness. Each knife is
quenched three times in oil, then given two tempering soaks to bring out the best in the steel. All are convex ground and razor sharp.
